Hand Luggage & Tea

Its been months since I last posted anything on here and gahh I miss it so much!! I guess that just shows how much parenthood hit me!

But no kidding aside, its been such long months. Couldnt keep up myself. Ok. so the pandemic is still on, although theyve developed a vaccine, its still bad.

Family-wise, my little baby girl is 6 months old and Hayden had officially moved here with us. Weve just had his residence visa sorted and Im currently organizing his paperworks for the next school year. Its been great living the new family life and also so busy. Hence the super late update! 😅

I think thats it for the meantime, hope I get to finish posts Ive started and fill the months in soon. So much stories to tell, so little time.

Today we got our second Como Tomo feeding bottle after testing it out last week. And we have a winner!!!

Everytime Saoirse gets fussy and distracted to feed from the breast (at her age- 2mos+), I had to pump and bottle feed my breastmilk to avoid engorement and so she can feed. We also used this to give her probiotics drops and so hubby can help me feed her. But the teets we have on the Avent set were flowing too fast and drowning her. Its so frustrating to watch her gag on the bottle so after researching, were so glad we finally found something that works for us. Ive watched a lot of reviews and so far this one is very suitable for bottle feeding and back to breastfeeding because of its soft nipple and natural flow.

It is going by pretty fast and boom shes two months!

This second month, weve loads of milestones as she started smiling and becoming more responsive. She has started cooing and talking to us and its just so adorable! Im keeping my fingers crossed, shes able to recognize day from night and last night she actually only had to feed once and had a 6-hr sleep. 😊

Tomorrow were heading to the clinic as well, its time for her vaccinations! Hope shes ok after tho.. But thats good news too because at least we can confidently go out do family stuff although we still need to be very careful. Covid cases are actually on the rise here again. And I ddnt realize in a few minutes, its already October.

What a few months it has been.

Writing this a bit late since its been so busy, anyway Saoirse is 1 month old today and were so deligthed shes growing healthily but yea when they babies grow so fast, sure they do! Shes a lot heavier now and looking at her newborn photos, shes a lot bigger!

Shes also out grown out of her newborn onsies at like 3 weeks, glad we ddnt buy loads of them but sure we were thinking theyd fit longer than that!

Its so funny and amazing to watch her personality develop, like she doesnt want anything in her head for example. Sure I manage to put those headbands but only for a little while for photos luckily she lets me. But its like when she was smaller she doesnt want caps when I was only worried shed feel cold! Hehe.. She also used to be ok being swaddled and now she hates it so we have to swaddle her when shes already asleep otherwise its either leave her without and shed be punching her face every 2 minutes.

We also started tummy time to get her neck strong and shes doing well! Had her first month check up too and shes weighing 4.8kgs now and 21.8inches tall!! She is a big baby! 😅
