Shepherd’s Pie

Haven’t really been in the mood to cook lately or blog about what I cook, but since its the first time I made this dish, I kinda have to right? 😅 Also, its a request from mi hubby..


Minced beef, 3/4 kg

Carrots, diced

Onion, diced

Mushroom, chopped

Bay leaves

Tomato paste, 2 spoons

Worcestershire Sauce, 1 Spoon

Salt and Pepper, to taste

Beef Broth, 1 cup

Mashed potatoes


So here we go, after preparing all the ingredients, toss the onions into the pan for 2 mins then add mushroom. Cook til brown-ish then add the minced beef. Add salt and pepper. Add the tomato paste when the minced beef is cooked. Then add the broth, bay leaves and wooster sauce. Let it simmer to boil. While doing all that make sure you are boiling the potatoes as well so its ready to be mashed by the time you finish the minced. So yea, mash mash mash and lay the sauce down into a dish (oven safe). I did put a bit of cheese before putting the mash on top idk why lol just thought might taste better haha! (loveeeeee cheese!). Pre heat oven and bake for 15-20 mins (or til the too turns brown ish) at 120 degrees. Viola!
